A Google Form for a self-check quiz

This form by Tammy Worcester is freely available as a template in Google Docs. Adapt it and use it as a self-checking quiz. The results show up, automatically, in spreadsheet form, as the students are taking the quiz. Assessment for learning… assessment of learning.

I have seen some wonderful uses of the SMART Board in several classrooms.

I have also seen it used as a very expensive projection screen.

The cost is considerable and, sometimes, the yield does not justify it.

What do you think? What is your experience? What are the alternatives?
